Concert Details:

All original music is performed, ranging from Big Band Swing to Orchestral pop music and large contemporary dance numbers. Many compare this production to a combination of Michael Buble, Billy Joel, Cirque Du Soleil and Glee. Shaun Canon has performed a very similar production at over 30 high schools and colleges over the past year. He has made some improvements, added Lindsey, Brandon and Special Guests to his touring group, and will now be featuring music, choir and dance ensembles from multiple schools (both college and high school).

The concert set list includes 15-16 songs. Here is an example of this set list:

  1. Hop, Skip and a Jump: performed by Shaun Canon, Brandon Cummings and local jazz band (from high school or college music dept.).
  2. Army of Kings: performed by Shaun Canon, Lindsey Stirling and local dance company (from high school, college, or local dance studio) and local drumline (from high school or college band depts.)
  3. Never for My Sake: performed by Shaun Canon, featured soloist and local choir (from high school or college choral dept.)
  4. Just Me and You: performed by Shaun Canon, featured soloist and local funk band/jazz band ensemble (from high school or college music dept.)
  5. You’re All My Reasons: performed by Shaun Canon and local string orchestra (from high school or college orchestra dept.)
  6. You Came Along: performed by Featured vocal soloist and dance soloist/duet (from local high school or college)
  7. Rose: performed by Featured vocal soloist and local choir (from high school or college)
  8. Emotion Constellation: performed by percussion ensemble and Featured vocal soloist
  9. Fade: performed by Shaun Canon and local concert band (from high school or college)
  10. Live or Die: performed by Shaun Canon and dance ensemble (from high school, college or local dance studio)
  11. Light of the Day/Dark of the Night: performed by Shaun Canon and local rock band (from high school or college)
  12. Sail Away, Soldier: performed by Shaun Canon, Lindsey Stirling and dance soloist (from high school, college or dance studio)
  13. The Brightest: A Capella performance by Shaun Canon and small choral ensemble (from high school or college)
  14. If you Save Me: performance by Shaun Canon, Lindsey Stirling and Brandon Cummings
  15. Live for Music: performed by Shaun Canon, Lindsey Stirling, Brandon Cummings, choir and drumline (from high school or college music and band departments)

All sheet music, lead sheets, choral/band arrangements, etc. will be sent to these departments ahead of time. Each band, choir, orchestra and dance ensemble learn ONE SONG to perform in this concert production. We have a 10 minute intermission halfway through the show, as well as 4 two minute videos to create time for stage hands to make any changes to the setup on stage. All sound checks are done earlier in the day between 4-6pm. Concert begins at 7:30pm and runs for approximately 1:45 (including the 10 minute intermission), and 1:50 with an encore performance.

Specific tech rider will be provided upon request. Basic needs will be: 4 monitor speakers, three vocal mics, grand piano, instrument mics for grand piano, DI plug in for violin, instrument mics for acoustic drum kit, plus any mics needed for a large choir, orchestra or band ensemble (this varies depending on the size of the ensemble and size of the concert hall).
